Who can participate in the hackathon?

Any student or professional interested in innovation and problem-solving can participate. Teams can be formed by students from any college or organization. We welcome beginners and experienced developers alike.

What is the team composition requirement?

Each team must consist of 6 members, including at least one female participant and one school student (7th–9th Standard). The team must be led by an IEEE Student Member.

How are mentors and community partners involved?

Every team is supported by a faculty mentor for technical guidance and a local community representative to ensure the project solves real-world challenges and gains local support during implementation.

Do I need to have prior hackathon experience?

No prior hackathon experience is required! We welcome participants of all skill levels. Mentors will be available throughout the event to guide you and help you learn.

What should I bring to the hackathon?

How much seed money can the winning teams receive?

Winning teams are eligible for seed funding of up to ₹4.5 Lakhs. This financial support is provided to help transition your prototype into a scalable, real-world solution for long-term community benefit.

What are the prizes?

We have a total prize pool of 1L+ distributed among the winning teams. First place receives ₹50,000, second place ₹30,000, and third place ₹20,000. Additional prizes may be awarded for special categories.

Is travel support provided for participants?

Yes, travel support will be provided to all finalist teams. We ensure that financial barriers do not prevent top innovators from participating in the Grand Finale and presenting their solutions.
